Angela started her career in the accounting practice working at several small firms before being hired by Jack E. Stanley, P.A. in 1985. After working at Jack's, her desire to have her degree grew; although it took her several years to do so, she obtained her degree in accounting from Arkansas State University in May, 1999. So nearly 15 years later, in October 2000, she was finally able to realize her lifelong dream of owning her own practice. Jack decided it was time to retire and the Angela A Claiborn CPA PLLC firm was established.

After much debate about the direction to take her firm, it was decided to concentrate solely on bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, and tax planning in 2005.  Angela and her staff have gone to a nearly paperless office which enables a faster turn around time regarding tax services. Flexible appointments, face to face consultations, and preparing the returns while the client is in front of them has also contributed to the faster service time. These conveniences also allows the staff to assess the needs of the client individually.
